It's been a while...

We didn't write a blog in 7 days because those 7 days were passed in small communities with barely any access to wifi or even data.

We left Medicine Hat 7 days ago, a lot happened we slept in a field before Irvine and that day another wheel on our wagon broke. We had no choice but to ask someone to help us to fix the wagon since we were at least 150 km away from the closest Canadian Tire. We reached the border of Saskatchewan 2 days later and we were so happy.

But the struggles were just starting, we got a lot of hills, very cold weather and difficulties finding places to buy food. These 7 days showed us what an homeless person in those rural communities can go through. In rural communities there is no services for these people.

We made it to Swift current in one piece and with still all our sanity. We met amazing people along the way and saw part of Saskatchewan we didn't notice before. We've changed so much during this journey, we don't see life the same way. Material is not so important anymore, we are grateful just to wake up and be able to have a nice meal that day. Our priorities changed completely, our days are passed walking, finding a safe spot and making sure we eat.

This journey changed us forever for the better.

Just Think about it....

There is so much to say since the last post was a while ago due to difficulties with my app. We've visited many little communities since...
