Our second day started on a frozen note, we woke up to a tent full of ice. I don't think we ever packed up a site so fast. We started walking early that day because we knew that we had a big day ahead of us in Strathmore.

We walked 19 km in hills to be chased by the news as soon as we've got into town. She walked with us for a little while asking us many questions. We were amazed by how welcoming all the people in such a little town are. They honk when they see us on the side of the roads, offered us coffee, etc...

After receiving a donation for a motel room so we can shower and get some rest. We've walked to meet with pastor Elizabeth and her friend Don. It was such an amazing conversation... speaking with someone who has the same calling of helping others was really amazing.

Belinda Derraugh, the manager from the Roadhouse restaurant, offered us a meal. It was one of the best meal we ever had. If you ever pass by Strathmore you have to stop there and try their steak. It was such a nice gesture to make sure we had full belly that nite. Crystal and her children met us at the restaurant to bring us some food for the next day. We were just amazed of the amount of help received in such a small community.

Definitely, the best day so far!!!!

Just Think about it....

There is so much to say since the last post was a while ago due to difficulties with my app. We've visited many little communities since...
