An amazing centre...

While we were in Medicine Hat we had the pleasure to visit the Champion Centre and meet with Barbara who is the Director. It was an extraordinary experience, we had great discussions with the staff and the clients there.

All the staff is so dedicated to make a difference to change things for the ones on the street. They serve breakfast everyday for the homeless, let them shower and provide them with clothes and/or beauty products if needed. They make them feel more humans, that someone care about which is an amazing feeling.

Barbara surprised us by asking us to do a speech to the clients who were so happy to hear that we are walking for them. Margo did an amazing speech and everyone including us left with higher spirit. They sent us on our way with a couple of items we needed and reminded us why what we are doing is important.
